Brentford’s Maxime Colin could be out for the rest of the season should he require surgery according to a report from West London Sport.
The defender had been coping with his groin injury for a while, but it flared up during the loss against Derby County last month. He then missed the games against Wolves and Rotherham United and will definitely miss the upcoming game against Charlton Athletic.
Colin is doing his all to try and avoid going under the knife as he saw a specialist and has even undergone a series of injections. That’s because if he does get the operation, it is very likely he will not play again this season.
The reports about Colin is the only negative injury news Brentford have got in the last week. Alan McCormack may be back for the game against Charlton while Scott Hogan scored on his return to action after 18 months out when he played for the developmental side on Monday.
